On 15 February 2025, PPIA Victoria successfully held its first-ever Internal Training and Development session, an important milestone in our organisational transformation journey. This session focused on essential topics: Effective Communication for Conflict Resolution and Xero Introduction.
We were honoured to have Hamdani Bantasyam as our guest speaker, who shared valuable insights on how to navigate conflicts effectively through communication. We explored various techniques such as active listening, assertiveness, and empathy, which are crucial for resolving misunderstandings and fostering healthy interactions in both personal and professional settings. Through discussions and interactive activities, participants gained valuable skills to handle conflicts in an organisation.
We then continued to the second session with Xero financial system introduction led by the Treasurer, Alma Rosita Firli Yusawan. The session provided a step-by-step guide on submitting claims and tracking expenses in order to improve our financial management and transparency, as part of our Transformation agenda.
The session was not only informative, but also a rewarding opportunity to connect, share, and learn as a team. We sincerely thank our speakers, participants, and especially the Human Resources Division for organising and facilitating such a successful session.
We look forward to continuing this momentum with more training opportunities that support personal development and strengthen our organisation from within.
